The Valley Family Resource Centre is a non-profit agency established in 1994 to offer programs for families with children 0-6 years of age. We are funded through the Public Health Agency of Canada –Community Action Program for Children and the Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program. We also receive funding from the Department of Education and Early Childhood, province of NB.
The Centre is governed by a Board of Directors and we currently have six employees.
If you are a parent, grandparent or caregiver, and would like to get out of the house with your kids, then drop by one of our playgroups. If you are a new Mom and would like to get together with other Moms, then check out our baby programs, or the Mom 2 Mom support group. Is your child starting school, if yes, then you should check out our School Readiness programs.
We also have parenting classes, a lending library with lots of parent and child books; commercial grade breast pumps you can rent, and much more.
